COVID-19 Workplace Compliance Course
The workplace provides an ideal place for the multiplying of microorganisms and the spread of diseases as people spend approximately 90% of their time indoors. Employees will tend to congregate in crowded places such as malls and sporting events. Poor personal hygiene habits, example; hand hygiene and inadequate best practices when coughing and sneezing, and the quick spread of disease through international travel all lead to the increased likelihood of disease being introduced into the work environment. This is more evident in organisations that have insufficient environmental or engineering controls and those that tolerate or allow employees to report to work when they are sick.
This course has been developed for individuals who would like to prepare themselves for dealing with communicable diseases in the workplace and for individuals who may be appointed as the responsible person to deal with possible contagious disease outbreaks in the work place. The course will prepare the individual on how to create and maintain a sterile zone in the workplace to safeguard other employees from being infected.
